Once upon a time in a small village lived an old man. He had one daughter, her name was Floofie. She was one of the prettiest females in the village. Still, no one talked to her because she was... different.
One day, Floofie's father fell ill and was bed ridden. The problem? The closest Doctor lived in the next town which was at least a few days of travel due to the travel time around the forest.
So, there Floofie stood face-to-face with the forest. If you went through the forest it would only take a day to reach the next town. Floofie took a deep breath and headed into the forest, her heart racing! She made her way through the forest until she came upon a castle.
In the end, Floofie let her curiousity get the best of her and entered the castle gate. She wandered about until she came upon a garden. It was pretty. The flowers seemed to glow.
Floofie found a single blue rose and gently touche it. A furious roar filled the castle. Loud sounds entered her ears as a gigantic creature jumped in front of her. Floofie screamed! She looked at the creature with tear filled eyes -it was a giant panda bear.
The bears green eyes looked at Floofie with rage and a mild sense of curiosity. She poked the panda to see if it was real or not...
"What are you doing here?" asked a deep voice.
"I-I was just... trying to get to the other side of the forest. My father is very ill and the Doctor is in the next town. I needed to get there as quickly as possible!"
"I am Pandy. This is my castle." the bear looked at Floofie, "I'll make a deal with you.. I will give you a magic tonic that will cure your father, but I will only give it to you if you promise to return to me after he is better. Then, you will stay with me... forever. Deal?"
"Y-yes." Floofie spoke as confidently as she could muster.
"Here. Don't forget to come back."
"I-I won't." after Floofie took the tonic she headed back to her father. When she arrived it was dark outside. She hurried inside to her father who was still ill in bed.
Without a word she made him a drink and mixed in the tonic. Floofie gave the drink to her father and told him to drink. He drank it all. Floofie stayed taking very good care of him for the next week. She explained her agreement to her father. He was sad and cried not wanting to let her go, but Floofie told him not to worry. He finally let her go back to Pandy.
When Floofie found the castle again in the middle of the forest it was dark, all was silent. She called for Pandy, but there was no answer. Floofie opened the doors to the castle and stepped in shaking. The dark rooms casting misleading shadows along the pathway as she walked.
"Pandy?" she called, "Pandy, where are you? It's me Floofie. I came back, as I promised."
Light footsteps and heavy breathing could be heard as Pandy came walking into the light from a nearby window.
"You came back..." He sounded shocked to see Floofie.
"I promised I would. So, here I am." Floofie smiled like a child would visiting an amusement park.
"I'll show you where you'll stay." he mumbled turning and shuffling away. Floofie followed him closely not wanting to get lost. "Here we are. This is your room now..."
Floofie walked in and gasped at the room, it was way too glamorous for her. Pandy mumbled he hoped she liked it and dinner would be ready in a few hours.
Floofie had been with Pandy for a few months now. Everyday she and Pandy went for a walk around the castle together. They talked, and then would eat together. Every night when Pandy would leave her he would always say he had an important thing to ask her soon, and that she should be ready for it. She had exhausted every clue as to what the question was. Plus, even though she hated to admit it, she had formed feelings for that panda bear.
One night while they were at dinner Pandy cleared his throat. His green eyes found hers. He rose and began walking around the table something in his paw.
"Floofie, I know this may be strange but... I love you." his eyes searched Floofie's carefully before continuing, "Would you consider becoming my wife?"
Floofie was silent. Her shocked eyes filled with tears and she wouldn't stop crying. Pandy asked if she was alright before saying if it bothered her so much they could just forget it.
"No." She grabbed Pandy's arm, "I love you. I'd love to be your wife."
He smiled as a warm glow covered him and the castle when the glow vanished there stood a beautiful man.
"Floofie, I love you! It's me Pandy!" the man exclaimed.
Floofie examined the beautiful man and looked into his gleaming green eyes. She smiled slightly moving some of his hair out of his face.
"It is you! Pandy! What happened? Were you under a spell?" he nodded and the two embraced.
A month later they married in front of everyone at the castle, including Floofie's father! Soon, they had a child named ALice. They were so happy to the ends of the earth! For you see, they lived happily ever after!
